Good afternoon,Universe!

I have a sad entry to share that happened in the lifes of the people I cared.
One by one my bestfriends broke up with their significant other.
and it makes me wonder, am i going to follow suit?
And it just happened that ALL of us are experiencing the SAME problem.
The difference is that whether we'll be on the same side or the other party.
Is this a curse or what?
I hate to even think about it
because I'm very sure I'll never be ready for singlehood
no matter when it happen or whether it's me who initiated it.
But to think about the pain that we've been through,
its more heartbeaking to accept
albeit the sweet memories and laughters we shared.

There was once a saying....
"It's okay to break up, as long as you learn from the past mistakes
and not repeat them in the next relationship."
or
"You need to experience in having more than 1 boyfriend,
so that you'll be able to learn the personality of the various type of people."

SHould i try the hypothesis?
Or just swallow the pain I've been through all this while,
and "just bear with it"(Little Nyonya,2008).

Pulau Penyengat,Riau, Indonesia
The Touch of Tranquility
Ms3212 Fieldtrip - Malay Classical Literature

Ana,Fatihaah,Nunu

Fatihaah, Nunu & Nad

With pretty girls from the P.Penyengat Tarian grp.

They're as gorgeous as me,kan kan kan?

The most beautiful masjid I've seen in my whole life.

This is where I stayed in P.Penyengat.

Actually, bedek ah....
This is our homestay house.

Assalamualaikum!

For once, I could step orang kaya tinggal in 2 storey bungalow.

Ana and Tihaah posing in one of the living rooms.

"Dek, baca ker tido ni?"
Nad in the 2nd living room.
and opps,I've forgotten to take pic of the 3rd living room.

Our house is the only house with kolam ikan paten.

gedek-gedek kan the fishes...

Staircase to the 2nd floor.
btw this "entertainment" set is at the 3rd living room.

The house is huge that there's a need for a bridge at the 2nd floor
to cross from one living room to another.

My 2 great companions.

Gym section at 2nd floor...
"gelek kanan kiri cik kak oi..."

"Tau pakai ker tak tau ni?"

"Kak, berkomplot pasal apa tu?
Plan nak halau permaisuri dari istana eh?"

The 3rd living room at 2nd floor.

view from above...

Our house corridor...

Walking around the kampung...

"Asa; kita tak tinggal kat rumah ni ah?
Lawa jugak eh kampung kat sini!
Kita beli rumah kat P.Penyengat nak tak?"
I love the flowers!!!!!As beautiful as me!!!

Museum of Manuscripts.

The moment we stepped here,
it rained heavily,
after 2 weeks of drought!
Recognise this pic in any of Indo movie on rural life?

They were damn happy the moment it started to rain!

I love this picture!
First hand experience on kampung life!

Istana Puteri Bilek.

"Assalamualaikum...
Orang Singapore jauh datang hendak mengadap tuanku!"

The most photogenic babe among us!

I love the smell of the breeze!

Singing in the rain
on the bridge to nowhere.

Been sisters for 7 years!

Balairong which has turned into Balai Adat.

Unfortunately, when we went there, it was close.

The Fantastic 4 ladies!

I was called "Nurul Albab".

The dearest Dutch Prof.
Cute kan?
I told yah...
=)

Waiting for the rain to stop

Just as we're enjoying our days in hiatus,
we hafta return to reality.

Pulau Penyengat will be a classic memory in our mind.

Btw, I've not introduced you the vehicle we took from Tanjung Pinang to P.Penyengat.
The PomPom.

The only public transport to cross the sea...
WITHOUT LIFEJACKETS!

Lovely to have house by the sea.

This is the platform to get onto the Pompom.

Goodbye Penyengat!

This is how near I was to the sea level while being seated.

I managed to catch this scenery
while the pompom stopped in the middle of the sea for ard 10mins,
again w/o life jackets.
We still could smile, instead of panicking.

Pulau Penyengat is LOVE!
